The Gender Innovations Lab of the World Bank has contracted us to work alongside the systematic demarcation team from Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development (MLHUD) to implement a household level intervention that aims to study the effects of land titling that households may experience after systematic demarcation.
To realize this, Associates Research will undertake two key tasks:
- Development of educational materials for engaging with households; this will require them to use actors, visit sites where systematic demarcation has previously taken place to record testimony through audio and video recording.
- Engage through visits with randomly selected households in new areas/ communities where systematic demarcation is going to be implemented. This will implement a series of nudges aimed at tipping household heads to include their spouses as joint owners.
