GIL Field work research

The Land tenure security for men and women at a house hold level intervention field work is to be carried out in march-May/June by the GIL group and associates research trust Uganda.

This field work is to help convince men include women on the land titles. Through household intervention, the different households will be shown the video clips which are meant to be inspirational towards the men and women in taking action so as to be inclusive in decision making and land ownership when it comes to the women.

A sample of how the mechanism and research methods used were successful. This was carried out in January where 18 households were visited and 14 were successful. The 14 households were able to get their land titles. This clearly has helped to pave way and continue with the project as we consider 77.8% of the first sample a success.
